[xpl027] - Marsman - Mindwarp

For his second album here on Xtraplex and our first release for 2016, Marsman explores further into the abstract vintage synth wave he is known for.

Main flavour of this dish tastes as an old tape being played way to much, the batteries in (y)our Sony Walkman have almost died and the sound is corrupted, subtly slowed down to a point of false notes playing the soundtrack of an 80s childs dream of a bright, yet naïve, scifi future.

Having arrived at that future we now know it is not as bright as we imagined it would be as a child, yet it is sounds like these that remind us of the road we once chose
